At Amaro's, our primary goal is to create a nurturing environment where children feel "at home." We provide full-time child care for children aged 3 months to 4 years. Our program is thoughtfully designed to support various developmental areas, including social-emotional, gross motor, fine motor skills, and cognitive development.
Located in East Lakewood, we are conveniently situated near Cerritos, La Palma, Cypress, Long Beach, and Los Alamitos.
We believe in a play-based learning approach that makes our days both educational and fun! At Amaro's, your child will enjoy nutritious meals and snacks throughout the day, including breakfast, morning, afternoon snacks, and lunch.
We emphasize the importance of addressing all developmental areas daily. Each day your child attends, they will participate in activities ranging from cognitive learning (like understanding days of the week, colors, and numbers) to social-emotional development (such as self-control and peer interaction), as well as creative arts (like drawing and crafting), language and literacy (storytime), and both gross and fine motor activities (like riding bikes, climbing, and coloring).
We also understand the importance of social skills, so we actively promote interactions among peers and with adults. Our child care program frequently organizes field trips walks around the peaceful Lakewood neighborhood.
